


VI. Session of the Croatian Student Council Held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the University of Zadar. The conclusions of the session focused on improving student standards and the academic system. Representatives of student councils from higher education institutions across Croatia attended the session.
Among other topics, the session discussed the financing of student councils within program agreements, with a particular emphasis on ensuring stable and long-term funding sources. Representatives highlighted the importance of transparent and fair allocation of financial resources. It was particularly emphasized that the amount of funds allocated to student councils has remained unchanged for over a decade, despite rising inflation and increasing costs of operations and student projects.
The session also addressed the role of artificial intelligence in higher education, including its impact on the teaching process. Participants stressed the need to adapt teaching methods and curricula to take advantage of AI’s potential while addressing possible challenges, such as academic integrity and ethical dilemmas. Special attention was given to the application of AI tools in student work evaluation and personalized learning.
